Terms of Service
Effective date: January 1, 2026
These terms apply to your use of www.brightlineconsultingco.com and to services you arrange with us through it. The site is operated by Choi Enterprises LLC, doing business as Brightline Consulting Co (“BCC,” “we,” “us”). By using this site, you agree to these terms.
Our services
BCC provides bookkeeping services. BCC is not a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and does not provide audit, assurance, attestation, tax preparation, or legal services. Financial reports we prepare are for management use and are not audited, reviewed, or compiled financial statements. Information on this website is general and is not professional advice for your specific situation.
Bookkeeping Services Agreement
Before any work begins, each client signs a Bookkeeping Services Agreement describing the scope of work, fees, and responsibilities. Prices on this website are starting prices; your final price is set in your agreement based on transaction volume, number of accounts, complexity, and the condition of your books. If these terms and your signed agreement ever differ, your agreement controls.
Monthly bookkeeping
The first monthly fee is due when you sign your agreement. After that, fees are charged automatically by ACH on the 1st of each month through our payment processor.
You are responsible for keeping valid payment information on file. If a payment fails, you agree to update your payment information and pay within 5 business days of our notice. We may suspend services if payment is not received within 15 business days of the original due date.
We may adjust fees with at least 30 days’ written notice.
Cleanup and catch-up bookkeeping
Cleanup pricing depends on the condition of your books. After reviewing your books, we provide a flat-fee quote. The full cleanup fee is invoiced and due before any cleanup work begins, and work starts once payment is received.
Ending services
Either party may end services with 30 days’ written notice. When services end, you pay for services provided through the end date, and we provide final reports and records reasonably needed to transition your bookkeeping. Fees already paid for a month in progress are not refunded.
Consultations
Introductory consultations are free. Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
Client responsibilities
You are responsible for giving us complete and accurate information, timely access to your accounts and records, and responses to reasonable requests within 3 business days. The accuracy of our work depends on the information you provide. You remain responsible for your business’s financial decisions, tax filings, and compliance.
Confidentiality and data security
We keep client information confidential and protect it with reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. We will notify you promptly of any suspected or actual data breach involving your information. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle information collected through this website.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, BCC’s total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the fees you paid during the six months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim. BCC is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or penalties or interest assessed by any taxing authority or financial institution.
Website content
The text, logo, and design of this site belong to BCC or its licensors and may not be copied without permission. Third-party trademarks, such as QuickBooks, belong to their owners.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Disputes related to client services are resolved as described in your Bookkeeping Services Agreement, which provides for good-faith negotiation followed by binding arbitration in Round Rock, Texas.
Changes
We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page with a new effective date.
